Areas
of Practice: Mr. Robertson has practiced in the area of corporate and commercial law, contracts and business transactions, including real estate since 1966. He also has a sub-specialty in the area of wills and trusts. Mr. Robertson has acted for the Provincial Government in setting up several Crown agencies and has represented a major trust company in its national reorganization and successor trusteeship legislation in British Columbia. He was a partner in a major Vancouver law firm for 25 years where he was a member of the Corporate / Commercial Department and headed the Wills and Estates Division Admission to the Bar: Mr. Robertson obtained an LLB at the University of British Columbia in 1965 and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia in 1964. He was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1966. Professional Activities: He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of British Columbia and the Vancouver Bar Association. Mr. Robertson has been involved at various times as a Director of U.N.I.C.E.F. British Columbia, Honorary Counsel for the Boy Scouts of Canada, Vancouver Coast Region and a Director and Treasurer of the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. |
